We are currently recruiting for a pastry chef to join Team Sweet. Working in our pastry kitchen in the bakery, you will be responsible for producing croissants, pain au chocolat, tarts and other sweet items coming out of our doors.

Key Role and Tasks
You will be working in the in Patisserie department within FAB Bakery over 5 days. You will need to be flexible with working hours and prepared for very early starts.
This is a fast-paced environment and you'll be working to tight deadlines to make high standard patisserie for the bakery shop and wholesale customers.
The key products that we make are Viennoiserie; croissants, pain au chocolate, Danishes, brioche etc. We also create special patisserie products for the bakery shop each weekend, so if you're creative that's a bonus!
The Sweet Team is small so applicants must be able to work cleanly and efficiently. It's also vital that you are happy work to work as part of a team.
Experience of baking basic patisserie products and understanding of processes is essential.
Experience of working in a kitchen/bakery environment is desirable, but we will definitely consider learnt experience through a personal passion for baking or through previous jobs held and/or a catering qualification.
It would be amazing if you had experience producing Viennoiserie products, but it's not essential.
