MARRIAGE'S FLOUR
Marriage's were founded in 1824 and have been making fantastic flour ever since. The flour is sourced from Essex farmers where possible, and we use Organic varieties where we can.
This flour is also available for purchase in our bakery.
CHARLOTTE'S BUTCHERY
Based locally in Gosforth, Charlotte is one of the best butchers in the region and she supplies us with sausage meat for our sausage rolls.
ACORN DAIRY PRODUCE
We like to use organic where we can, and Acorn Dairy are based locally in the North-East, producing some of the finest milk and butter around.
We also sell the butter and milk in the bakery
PUMPHREY'S
Pumphrey's were established in 1700, and are a much-loved respected tea and coffee business in the North-East.
They supply the tea and coffee for our takeaway hot drinks and both items are available to buy loose.
CHARITEA + LEMONAID
Born from the same initiative, this very cool company is German. Based in Hamburg, this is not-for-profit industry donates 5% of the sale of every product to social and economic projects. They pride themselves on the quality of the product- all the of the ingredients are Organic and Fair-trade- but also the welfare of the farmers, who they visit regularly. The drinks are also delicious.
GREENCITY WHOLEFOODS
Greencity Wholefoods are a co-operative situated in Glasgow, where they were established in 1978. They supply us with a whole host of organic products, including seeds for our bread, hand wash, washing up liquid, and nuts and raisins. It's a lovely little business.
JEAN'S JAMS
Jean has been making her delicious jams, chutneys and preserves for over 18 years! A holder of the Great Taste Award, this local lady is very talented. Available to purchase at the bakery.
